IDX And KISI Hold Sharia-Based Financial Literacy Education Education

JAKARTA - PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX), and PT Korea Investment & Sekuritas Indonesia (KISI) collaborated with the Ministry of Understanding for Islamic-based financial literacy education titles.

KISI's Online Business Associate Director Mr. Yang Seok Mo said the event was an open space for the public to deepen their knowledge of investment in accordance with sharia principles, as well as answer the challenges of volatile market conditions.

"The success of this event is a reflection that Islamic-based financial literacy is getting special attention by holding an educational Kopdar event initiated by KISI," he said in his statement, April 22, 2025.

Yang said the active involvement in this activity was part of the company's long-term commitment to encouraging inclusion and Islamic financial literacy in the form of expanding sharia capital market education to the public.

"Through strategic collaboration with communities and institutions such as IDX, KISI hopes that more people will be brave and ready to take investment steps in an ethical way and in accordance with Islamic financial principles," he said.

The event has the theme Islamic Capital Market School: Stable Portfolio during the Labil Market which was attended by more than 50 members of the Ngerti Saham Community and other communities.

Held offline, this activity succeeded in attracting participants' enthusiasm from various backgrounds, ranging from the younger generation, professionals, to housewives.

With an easy-to-understand and direct educative approach, this event received appreciation from the participants and not only became a scientific sharing event, this event also succeeded in inspiring almost all participants to become new investors in the Indonesian capital market.

Present as speakers at the educational event were the KISI Specialist Investment Team, Sharia Product Development IDX Aldiansyah Akbar, and the Founder of the Frisca Devi Choirina Shares.

In the event, participants were invited to dive into the Islamic capital market through several topics, namely the basics of sharia investment and regulations, guidelines for choosing sharia stocks through the ISSI & JII index, and the process of sharia stock transactions.

In addition, participants are also invited to understand the strategy of building a solid sharia portfolio from the start, as well as obtaining an exclusive e-book as an additional provision for long-term investment travel.

As a follow-up, on April 21, 2025, KISI officially launched the iKISI application, an investment platform that facilitates public access to capital market products, including Islamic stocks.
