Investors Are Worried Again, Rupiah Potentially Less
JAKARTA - Financial Market Observer and Commodity Ariston Tjendra said that the movement of the rupiah has the potential to weaken against the United States (US) dollar on Tuesday, April 22.
Ariston revealed that this morning the regional exchange rate moved lower against the US dollar.
According to him, consolidation seems to be happening again because the market is still showing concern about the future of the global economy, especially as a result of the increase in tariffs imposed by Trump, even though Trump has relaxed and opened up space for negotiations.
"So the rupiah has the potential to weaken again today against the US dollar," he said in his statement, Tuesday, April 22.
