Redmi Turbo 4 Pro Ready To Launch: Elegant Design, Fast Performance With Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, And Jumbo Battery

JAKARTA - Redmi is again shaking the premium mid-range smartphone market with its new device, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. According to its typical strategy, Redmi adheres to the principle of high specification, affordable prices. The official launch in China is scheduled for April 24, 2025, but leaks from the Chinese website Telecom have revealed almost all of its specifications and designs.
The most striking of the Turbo 4 Pro is its debut as the world's first smartphone to use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. This processor comes with a single Cortex-X4 3.2GHz core, three Cortex-A720 3.0GHz cores, two 2.8GHz cores, and two 2.02GHz cores. For graphics, the Adreno 825 GPU is embedded only one level below the Adreno 830 flagship GPU of the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
Wang Teng, General Manager of Xiaomi Marketing for the Chinese market, stated that the Turbo 4 Pro will outperform its class rivals such as OnePlus Ace and iQOO Neo thanks to a combination of new processors and system optimization.
In design, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro looks modern with a flat 6.83-inch OLED screen, 1.5K resolution (2800 x 1280 pixels), and a refresh rate of 120Hz. This smartphone has a thickness of only 7.98mm and a metal frame, giving a premium impression even though it is in the medium segment.
The 20MP front camera is embedded inside the punch-hole, while on the back there is a dual camera with a 50MP OIS main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide secondary lens.
Extraordinary Resilience
One of the big advantages of the Turbo 4 Pro is the 7,550mAh battery, which uses silicon-carbon technology and is supported by 90W fast charging. This combination makes it one of the best battery-resistant smartphones in its class.
Other additional features include on-screen fingerprint sensor, IR blaster, and IP68/IP69 water and dust-resistant certification, which makes this device suitable for various extreme use conditions.
Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will run on HyperOS 2 based on Android 15, the latest operating system from Xiaomi designed to improve efficiency and performance. All variants are equipped with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, ensuring a very fast multitasking and data processing experience.

As usual, the international variant of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is expected to come under the name Poco F7. Its predecessor, Redmi Turbo 4, has been launched globally as Poco X7 Pro, and this naming scheme is likely to continue.
Poco F7 is believed to target users who want high performance, large batteries, and affordable prices characteristics typical of the Poco F series.
Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will compete with other big names from China such as Realme GT Neo 7, OnePlus Ace 5, and iQOO Neo 10. However, the advantage as the first device with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and a jumbo super battery is a strong selling point.
If Xiaomi continues to follow the global launch pattern as before, Poco F7 could be announced in the next 1.2 months, after passing regional certification in various countries.
