Vin Diesel Urges Production House To Reveal Fast X: Part 2, Why?

JAKARTA - Actor Vin Diesel urged the Universal production house to notify the schedule for the release of the latest film from the Fast & Furious franchise.

Through his latest upload, he asked Universal to tell fans about Fast X: Part 2 which was predicted to be the last film of the franchise. He admitted that he did not know the information about the release of the film.

"Universal, please tell the best fans in the world when the next film will be released, please," wrote Vin Diesel via his Instagram account.

He also includes hashtags such as #DomandLetty, #FuelFest, and #LosBandoleros2 hinting at titles related to the franchise.

Production of the film hasn't started yet even though Fast X: Part 2 is projected to air in 2026. Some time ago, Diesel revealed the possibility that it will direct the Fast X film to continue Los Bandoleros' short film related to Fast & Furious.

Los Bandoleros tells the story of Dominictar's incident related to hijacking fuel tankers and contacting previous Fast & Furious films.

A few hours later, the photo caption was replaced with a Diesel appreciation to fans. He uploaded a photo with Michelle Rodriguez in a photo shoot.

"For all of you who are with this franchise... both a day and 25 years. We appreciate you. All love, always," wrote Vin Diesel.

Universal itself has not responded to Vin Diesel's request.
