As A Result Of Trump's Tariff, Razer Pulls Laptop Blade From US Market
JAKARTA When the US implemented the latest tariff from Donald Trump, Razer withdrew a number of its laptop models from the official sales site. According to reports circulating, the company withdrew Blade 16 from the market.
Razer never made an official announcement about the withdrawal of his latest laptop. The company quietly withdrew the Blade series from direct or online sales, including the latest Blade 16 using the NVIDIA GPU.
A week after sales were discontinued, a number of customers discussed their pre-order laptops being held back at US Customs. However, some Blade 16 models are rumored to have reappeared for customers in the US.
The company only features the Blade 16 2025 model, but this laptop only supports direct purchases with the RTX 5080 GPU. If users check on the official Raazer website, they will see RXT 5070 Ti and RTX 5090 types with the 'Tell me' button.
The strange thing, according to The Verge report, is that this laptop manufacturer also attracts laptops of certain type of storage. RTX 5090 was previously available with 64GB/1TB RAM and RAM32GB/1TB, but now Razer only provides one option.
Users cannot buy 5090 configurations with 32GB/1TB storage. Apart from pulling several versions of Blade 16 2025, Razer also no longer provides Blade 16 2024 and Blade 18.
