Toyota Collaborates With Transjakarta, Reviving The Attractiveness Of Historic Business Centers
PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) continues to innovate, not only presenting cars and full-sale services but also cooperating with various cross-sectors with the aim of increasing mobility solutions.
This time, the well-known Japanese brand collaborated with PT Transport Jakarta (Transjakarta). The collaboration resulted in the naming of the halter or naming rights Stop Senen to become the Senen Toyota Rangga bus stop. This initiative is in line with PT TAM's strategic steps.
The selection of the Senen Bus Stop is not without reason, but rather the place has an important role as one of the centers of economic, social and mobility activities of the people of Jakarta. Pasar Senen, which has existed since 1733, is a symbol of the spirit of entrepreneurship and hard work of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
In addition, the naming of this new bus stop is claimed not only as a media branding, but also as a form of contribution in creating an integrated, comfortable, and relevant public transportation ecosystem with the needs of today's urban communities.
Marketing Director of PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM) Jap Ernando Demily, said the launch of the Senen Toyota Rangga Bus Stop was Toyota's first step to actively participate in the integration of public and individual mobility, in line with the government's vision to create a more integrated, efficient, and equitable urban transportation ecosystem.
"This project is a breakthrough in our strategic steps in creating the spirit of innovation and mobility to the community. Through this initiative, Toyota wants to be closer to the points of community mobility and be part of their daily business journey," said Jap Ernando, in an official statement received on Saturday, April 19.
Armed with a long experience since presenting Kijang Pick Up in 1977, Toyota presented Hilux Rangga as a new mobility solution designed to support industrial growth, business development, and improve the quality of life of Indonesians, both in urban and rural areas.
Meanwhile, Marketing Director of PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM) Hiroyuki Oide, revealed that Toyota believes that mobility solutions are more than just moving people. With the Senen Toyota Rangga Bus Stop, the company aims to support not only better transportation, but also local communities and businesses that depend on daily mobility.
"Because mobility is not only a matter of changing places, but also an effort to create opportunities and increase productivity. This project is a step towards a more integrated and inclusive mobility ecosystem in a sustainable manner, and supports local economic progress," said Hiroyuki.
