Apple Criticizes Meta After Distributing Internal Data Of Its Company Accidentally

JAKARTA Meta is trying to defend itself against monopolistic accusations in various ways, one of which is by comparing data on the use of applications on iOS. Apparently, this action was criticized by Apple.

Actually, there's nothing wrong with the data that Meta shared because Apple shared its internal data voluntarily. However, based on The Verge's findings, Meta harbored the true percentage so that Apple's original data was revealed.

This caught Apple's anger. According to the iPhone manufacturer's lawyer, Meta has made a very serious mistake. With Apple's internal data disclosure, the company admits it can no longer trust Meta.

They will not share other internal data with Meta in the future. Not only Apple has criticized Meta's negligence, Snap and Google have also made the same statement. In fact, Google blames Meta for making a fatal mistake.

The original Meta data was successfully revealed after The Verge realized that the presentation slide that Meta presented was edited. When the PDF layer is dismantled, unsaturated original data will appear.

If examined further, the original data revealed is not very interesting. The data only shows that 88 percent of iPhone owners in the US have used the iMessage app in the past week.

However, for Apple, this data may be very important. What's more, Apple has never disclosed the percentage of iMessage usage. Some parties may not have expected to bring the use of iMessage very high on iOS.
