It Is Proven That Visitors Drop Imbas Entrance Tickets Repeatedly, Cibodas Tourism Is Now Implementing A 1-door System

JABAR - The Department of Culture and Tourism (Disbudpar) of Cianjur Regency has re-implemented the one-gate system to the Cibodas Tourism Area.

Head of Disbudpar Cianjur Asep Suparman said this policy was to increase the number of tourist visits that had dropped because visitors had to pay a lot of tickets or entrance tickets.

"We evaluated and re-Explored the plan for one door to enter the Cibodas Tourism Area, only one ticket, so it doesn't burden visitors, especially so far the number of visits to the Cibodas Tourism Area is quite high," he said in Cianjur, Monday, April 14, which was confiscated by Antara.

Asep said that Disbudpar would immediately coordinate with various parties in the Cibodas Tourism Area, starting from the Cibodas Botanical Gardens BRIN, tourism awareness groups and other parties.

So far, he said, his party has not received any information regarding the number of ticket withdrawals at the mainstay tourist location of Cianjur Regency in the northern region, so his party studied the scheme to collaborate again with BRIN Kebun Raya Cibodas.

"We also hope that there will be cooperation again so that the number of visits to the Cibodas Tourism Area continues to increase and visitors are not burdened with the high ticket fees that must be paid," he said.

Director of the Cibodas Botanical Gardens Management, Marga Angrianto, said that during the Eid holiday, of the 6,000 visitors who entered the Cibodas Botanical Gardens, about 30 percent chose to enter through door 3 which was enough to pay for tickets.

This was done to avoid other levies that occurred outside doors 1 and 2, where visitors who entered immediately bought a ticket to enter the Cibodas Botanical Garden in accordance with applicable regulations of Rp. 15,500 per person on weekdays and Rp. 25,500 per person on weekends.

"Road access and door 3 have been opened to the public for a long time, but during the Lebaran 2025 holiday it went viral because visitors complained about the number of levies when visiting the Cibodas Botanical Gardens through doors 1 and 2," he said.

Kebun Raya Cibodas merupakan Kawasan Konservasi Ilmiah milik BRIN yang tiket masuknya sudah diatur resmi melalui Peraturan Menteri Keuangan (PMK) Nomor 129/PMK.02/2022, di mana dalam penarikan tiket masuk merupakan Pendapatan Negara Bukan Pajak (PNBP).

"Kebun Raya Cibodas has three entrances, two of which are on Jalan Kebun Raya Cibodas, Cimacan Village, Cipanas District and one door on Jalan Sindangjaya, Cipanas District or entering through the side road of the Cipanas Palace," he said.

After passing through the Cipanas Palace, access is easy for two- and four-wheeled vehicles to pass because the road conditions are quite wide accompanied by natural views of mountain feet, after 4 kilometers from the Cipanas Palace, visitors can meet the official Cibodas Botanical Gardens 3 Gate.
