Expanding Jargas In South Tangerang, PGN Distributes Gas To Three Cluster Housing In Bintaro

PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN) continues to expand access to clean energy through natural gas networks (jargas) by adding gas distribution to three housing clusters in Bintaro Jaya, South Tangerang.

Just so you know, PGN recorded more than 10,000 gas registrants in the South Tangerang region, including Bintaro Jaya, Graha Raya, and Villa Melati Mas. Around 6,000 families in the region have also felt the benefits of more efficient, practical, and safe natural gas. Nationally, PGN manages more than 815,000 home connections (SR) with a pipeline network of 20,000 km.

Pj. Project Manager City Gas 2 PGN, Rudi Permadi said that PGN will continue to strive for the acceleration of gas network development. He also appreciated the support of regional managers, cluster administrators, and residents in Bintaro Jaya, Graha Raya, and Villa Melati Mas who helped encourage the success of jargas as a National Strategic Project.

"The Task Force not only provides comfort, but is also able to ease the burden of subsidies and energy imports," said Rudi, Friday. April 11.

Heny Purwati as the Area Head of PGN Tangerang also emphasized PGN's commitment to providing natural gas benefits for the community.

"We continue to expand the reach of services so that more people get the energy of natural gas that is always available at all times. Through gas, we believe that every family can live a more practical and comfortable life," he said.

As a form of support for new customers, PGN provides installation of free gas pipes up to 15 meters from meter to stove. Not only that, PGN also provides free stove conversions for two stoves so that customers can switch to natural gas without problems.

Tini, one of the customers, has benefited greatly from the use of gas lines, such as cost savings, security, and gas availability that are always guaranteed.

"Ladies and gentlemen are afraid that the gas will run out. For more, please ask for help from men or boys," said Tini regarding her concerns before turning to jargas.

"So if the gas is normal, when it runs out in the middle of cooking, you have to put it first. If (wearing gas) it's not afraid to run out, it's non-stop, as long as we cook it, it's not disturbed," said Tini.
