BAC 2025: Jafar/Felisha Hajar Unggulan Ketiga Untuk Pijaki Semifinal
JAKARTA Mixed doubles Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu beat third seed Goh Soon Huat/Lai Shevon Jemie to reach the semifinals of the 2025 Badminton Asia Championships (BAC).
Jafar/Felisha secured the first ticket for Indonesia with a straight two games 21-15 and 21-11 wins over the Malaysian representative at the Ningbo Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium on Friday, April 11, 2025.
"Praise God, I am very grateful that the results we have won or lost are the best. We also always try our best," said Fekha in the statement.
Goh/Lai are the second seed doubles to be stopped by Jafar/Felisha in this tournament. They previously beat seventh seed Chen Xing/Zhang Chi from China in the first half.
Jafar/Felisha will definitely meet again in the semifinals, Saturday, April 12, 2025, namely the pair Hiroki Midorikawa/Natsu Saito (seeded eight from Japan) or Feng Yan Zhe/Huang Dong Ping (two advantages from China).

Jafar/Felisha are one of seven Indonesian representatives who have penetrated the last eight. In the mixed doubles sector, they advanced with Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari.
Unfortunately, Rinov/Pitha's journey did not continue into the semifinals. The pair lost against host first seed Jiang Zhen Bang/Wei Ya Xin.
