14,949 Tourists Visit Komodo National Park During Eid Al-Fitr
JAKARTA - The Komodo National Park (BTNK) noted that as many as 14,949 tourists visited Komodo National Park in West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) during the Lebaran 2025 holiday.
"We have recorded this visit from March 28, 2025 to April 6, 2025," said Head of BTNK Hendrikus Rani Siga as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, April 9.
He added that tourist visits were carried out on four destinations, namely Loh Buaya, Loh Liang, Gili Lawa, and Padar in the TNK area.
He detailed that the total visits of 14,949 tourists to Komodo National Park consisted of 7,494 foreign tourists and 7,455 domestic tourists.
The highest total tourist visits, he continued, occurred on April 4, 2025, with a total of 2,240 visits and the lowest total tourist visits in that period were recorded on March 28, 2025, with a total of 667 visits.
"The total number of tourist visits varies every day during the Eid holiday period this time," he said.
The TNK area is an icon of tourism in Labuan Bajo because there are Komodo dragons and a number of natural tourist destinations that are of interest to foreign tourists and the archipelago.

Previously, BTNK recorded 334,206 people visiting Komodo National Park throughout 2024.
"The visit is more dominated by foreign tourists than domestic tourists," said Head of BTNK Hendrikus Rani Siga.
Hendrikus detailed the number of foreign tourists visiting the TNK as many as 226,948 people, while domestic tourists totaling 107,258 people.
