Backflow Of The Air Line, Halim Perdanakusuma Airport Prepares Maximum Security
JAKARTA - Entering the peak of the 2025 Eid backflow, Halim Perdanakusuma Airport began to be crowded with passengers returning to the capital by air. This spike has occurred since Saturday, April 5 and is expected to continue until Monday, April 7. To maintain smooth operations and security, airport managers have taken a number of strategic steps.
One of them is the deployment of around 40 security personnel from Aviation Security (AVSEC) to secure vital areas at the airport. This was conveyed by the Supervisor of the 2025/1446 H Eid Air Transport Integrated Command Post, Rangga Mahardhika, when met at the location on Monday.
"We have placed 40 AVSEC officers in important points such as arrival areas, check-in areas, and departure waiting rooms. All of them are ready during the peak of this backflow," explained Rangga.

AVSEC is tasked with maintaining safety and security in airport environments, including inspecting passengers, baggage, and cargo items. Their presence is at the forefront of ensuring the departure and arrival process takes place without any problems.
Not only that, officers from the Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) were also alerted to anticipate an emergency situation that might occur in the airport area.
According to Rangga, all other supporting facilities and services have also been confirmed to be optimal. "We have carried out a thorough check of airport facilities, and we have also adjusted the number of personnel to the need for peak backflow," he said.
With various preparations that have been made, the airport hopes that all flight activities can run safely, orderly, and comfortably for travelers returning to Jakarta via Halim Perdanakusuma Airport.
