Eid Al-Fitr Moment, SIG Pererat Silaturahmi With Stakeholders And Salurkan Bantuan In 6 Provinces

JAKARTA - PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) and its subsidiaries organize various activities to strengthen friendship in the Holy Month of Ramadan, as well as strengthen collaboration with the community and stakeholders (stakeholders).

This routine program, which is the Company's commitment to implementing the three pillars of sustainability, is in line with President Prabowo Subianto's 8th Asta Cita principle, which is to strengthen the harmony of life with the environment, nature, and culture, as well as increase tolerance between religious believers to achieve a just and prosperous society.

In a series of activities that took place from Tuesday 4 March to Friday 21 March, the GIS Group distributed aid to the community around the Company in Aceh Province, West Sumatra, South Sumatra, West Java, Central Java, and East Java.

These assistances were given in the form of 17,256 food packages, compensation for 1,705 orphans and twofa, Eid gifts for 1,090 religious and community leaders, to operational assistance and the implementation of Ramadan activities for 113 mosques and prayer rooms.

GIS President Director, Donny Arsal said, the Holy Month of Ramadan is a special moment to share through social actions as a form of concern, as well as expressing gratitude to the people who have given their trust and support for the sustainability of the Company's business.

As a state-owned company, GIS wants to always be present in the midst of society to make the best contribution. Hopefully this Ramadan Safari activity will further strengthen collaboration between the Company and the community and stakeholders, so that it can provide many benefits for all of us," said Donny Arsal.

In carrying out its operations, GIS adheres to the three main principles of Sustainable Development Goals: property, people, and planets. One of these commitments is realized through the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program which is routinely carried out, especially in the momentum of the holiday.

This year, GIS in Gresik Regency provided 290 food packages and holiday allowances for TPQ teachers and two people, school compensation and equipment for 170 orphans. SIG also provided assistance to 8 mosques/musalas to support operational activities. Meanwhile, the Tuban Factory GIS supports 799 orphans and distributes 10,236 food packages.

A subsidiary of GIS, PT Semen Gresik gave takjil for a number of mosques around the Company, compensation for orphans, as well as gifts for twofa, religious leaders, and the community. Meanwhile, PT Semen Baturaja Tbk provides compensation for 100 orphans and Al-Quran assistance for mosques and TPQ. In West Sumatra, PT Semen Padang provides assistance in worship clothes and mosque operations.

Meanwhile, PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk (SBI) Tuban Factory, Cilacap Factory, Narogong Factory, and Lhoknga Factory, distributed 6,300 food packages, compensation for 205 orphans, as well as mosque equipment assistance.
