Stabbing Police And Residents To Death In Rohil, MK Arrested By Riau Police

RIAU - The Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the Riau Police arrested the Constitutional Court, the perpetrator of the stabbing of a police officer and two residents in Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency (Rohil), causing two people to die, including one.

Dirreskrimum Polda Riau Kombes Asep Darmawan said the police had examined seven witnesses and secured a number of evidences, including a knife with a wooden handle and the victim's clothes.

We have examined witnesses and secured a knife that was allegedly used in this incident. The victim who died has also undergone an autopsy at Bhayangkara Hospital, Pekanbaru," Asep said during the release of the case in Pekanbaru, Antara, Sunday, March 30.

The victims who died were Bripka Lestari Candra, who suffered stab wounds to the right chest, and Herman, who suffered injuries to the solar plexus. Meanwhile, DS suffered a stab wound to the lower back and is now being treated intensively at the hospital.

He explained that the incident last Saturday began with a dispute due to a driving reprimand. At that time the victim and several witnesses entered the housing with three motorbikes.

When passing through the guard post, the vehicle driven by H drove quite fast and received a warning from the suspect at the Constitutional Court who was on guard. However, the reprimand actually sparked an argument between them," explained Kombes Asep.

After being dispersed, the suspect returned to the post. However, the victim came to the guard post again until the fight continued and led to the stabbing.

In this incident, the suspect used a 30 cm long knife to attack the victim. The police who died were members of the Sinaboi Sector Police who served as Bhabinkamtibmas," he explained.

As a result of his actions, the Constitutional Court is now charged with Article 340 in conjunction with Article 338 Subsidiary 351 of the Criminal Code and is still undergoing further examination.
