DKI Provincial Government: Gage Abolished During Eid Holidays And Joint Leave
JAKARTA
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has decided to abolish the odd-even system on private vehicles in Jakarta during the Eid holidays and collective leave starting this Friday.
"The odd-even period was abolished during the Lebaran holiday and collective leave. This means that until the 7th there will be no odd-even," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Syafrin Liputo in Jakarta, Friday.
The implementation of Motor Vehicle Free Day (HBKB) on March 30, 2025 and April 6, 2025 was also abolished in DKI. "So these two weeks are abolished for Motor Vehicle Free Day," said Syafrin.
During the Eid 2025 transportation period, the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency implemented traffic engineering in several shopping centers such as Tanah Abang Market, Thamrin City, Glodok, PGC Cililitan and ITC Cempaka Mas.
"The hope is that at this time, this implementation can run perfectly and the community can carry out the preparations for Eid properly," said Syafrin.

Then, after Eid, traffic engineering is focused on the location to the tourist area. One of them is Ragunan Wildlife Park (TMR).
The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency has implemented a one-way system (SSA) to the location of the TMR to avoid the accumulation of vehicle volumes at the location of the tourist attraction.
At 06.00 WIB until 10:00 WIB, a one-way system is applied to the south. Then, for the afternoon, the SSA applies to the north.
With this engineering, he hopes that the flow of traffic when people go to TMR and return to their homes in the afternoon can run smoothly, especially those passing Jalan TB Simatupang.
Apart from Ragunan, Syafrin also made traffic engineering arrangements in the Ancol area, Kota Tua, National Monument (Monas) and the Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) area.
