More Connected With Friends, Facebook Launches Updated Friends Tab
JAKARTA - After launching many new features such as groups, video calls, or marketplaces, Meta announced that it will bring back the initial essence of Facebook which will focus on interaction with friends.
Starting today, users in the United States and Canada can enjoy a new Friends tab, where the tab will contain content from your Facebook friends only.
We will add some Facebook "OG" experience throughout the year, starting with an updated Friends tab, Meta wrote in an announcement on its official website on Thursday, March 27.
This feature will make it easier for users to find stories, retails, uploads, birthdays, and friends requests without being disturbed by other content from pages or groups.
Previously, Friends tabs may only be used to view requests for friendship and recommendations "People You Might Know". But with this update, Facebook hopes to restore a more personal social feel for its users.

The Friends tab can be accessed via a navigation bar in the Home feed or in the app'smark section. Users can also embed this tab in the following way:
Click the profile photo in the Home feed Select Settings and Privacy Click Settings, then select Tab Bar Select Friends then embed it in the navigation bar.
