3 Climbers Disappeared On Mount Arjuno Found Safe On The Mount Mujur Line
The joint SAR team found three climbers safe after being declared missing while climbing Mount Arjuno through the Malang Regency route, East Java (Jaktim).
Malang Raya SAR Coordinator Yoni Fariza said three climbers were declared missing on Tuesday, March 25, found on the non-official climbing route of Mount Mujur, Tawangrejo Village, Malang Regency on Wednesday, March 26.
"During the survivors from Mount Arjono, about 07.45 WIB was found 1.5 kilometers from our post," said Yoni in Malang, March 26, quoted by Antara.
Based on data compiled from the Surabaya Office Basarnas, the identities of the three climbers are Rizki Rona Pratama (18), Mirza Maulana (17), and Galang Fahreza (15).
Through the report, it was explained that Tuesday, March 25, SAR members initially received information about the disappearance of the three climbers.
After a search was carried out, the three of them were found to have climbed Mount Arjono via the Mount Mujur route on Sunday, March 23 at 10.00 WIB. But until yesterday March 25 at 18.00 WIB the climbers never came down.
The three climbers are all residents from Karangploso District.

Yoni stated that currently the SAR team is climbing back to Mount Arjuno to evacuate several families of the three climbers who had searched independently.
"My team and I are on the way back to the top (Gunung Arjuno), we have traveled 32 minutes with an elevation of 40 degrees to pick up the survivors who are searching independently," he said.
Furthermore, said Yoni, the evacuation was carried out because the families of climbers had run out of supplies since the first time they conducted an independent search yesterday, March 25 morning.
"So before the post opens, these survivors go up to carry out the search independently. They are currently running out of supplies and we will evacuate," he said.
