9,051 PPPK Bekasi Regency Will Officially Be Inaugurated Tomorrow

A total of 9,051 Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) within the Bekasi Regency Government, West Java, took an oath and promise on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 after being declared to have passed the selection stage which took place at the end of last year.

"We are currently preparing the technical implementation of the first phase of the inauguration which is planned to be attended by the Head of Regional Office III of the State Civil Service Agency," said Head of the Bekasi Regency Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency Endin Samsudin as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, March 25.

He stated that the PPPKs that would be sworn in and promised came from the 2024 formation with functional positions of teachers, health workers and technical personnel.

"We have prepared the oath/promise of PPPK, hopefully it will run smoothly," he said.

Bekasi Regency became the first area in West Java to accelerate the inauguration of PPPK in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform and the State Civil Service Agency.

Endin hopes that after the first phase of this week, the second phase of the inauguration can be carried out immediately so that there will be no more honorary employees within the Bekasi Regency Government at the end of this year.

"Because Bekasi Regency is the first area in West Java to inaugurate a large number of PPPK, we hope that this process will run smoothly. Our target, before November 2025, all honorary employees have been completed," he said.

Presiden Prabowo Subianto telah menetapkan bahwa pengangkatan PPPK tahap pertama paling lambat dilakukan pada Oktober 2025, sesuai kesiapan masing-masing daerah.

Bekasi Regency has allocated an employee budget and coordinated with the Ministry of PANRB and BKN Regional III West Java to ensure smooth implementation.

"We have prepared all preparations, both financially and technically. There is no reason to postpone it," he said.

Meanwhile, the second phase of the PPPK selection in Bekasi Regency was attended by 4,700 applicants to fill the 1,046 available formations. For those who do not pass the selection, they will be included in the part-time PPPK scheme with the status of State Civil Apparatus (ASN).

"PPPK for part-time is still given an Employee Identification Number and has the status of an ASN. If the budget is sufficient later, we will propose additional formation so that they can become full-time PPPK," he said.

With the acceleration of this inauguration, the Bekasi Regency Government hopes that the process of appointing PPPK can run smoothly and meet the government's target in completing the status of honorary staff.

This step is also expected to improve the quality of public services in Bekasi Regency with the presence of educators, health workers and technical personnel who are more professional and have certainty of employment status.
