KlatenPrambanan Toll Road Can Be Passed Freely During Lebaran Homecoming, Check Routes
JAKARTA - The Yogyakarta Solo Toll Road for the 8.6 kilometer Klaten Segment has begun to be opened functionally for 24 hours during the homecoming and 2025 Eid homecoming flow.
This means that the toll road will be opened for free starting today, Monday, March 24 to April 7.
PT Jasamarga Jogja Solo (JMJ) is always a subsidiary of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) said that to support optimal services for people who go home and spend holidays in the Yogyakarta area in the Lebaran 2025 period, they will operate a functional route starting from the 8.6 kilometer Klaten 'Prambanan segment and the 6.8 kilometer Prambanan'Tamanmartani (STA 37+500) segment.
The functional path of the Klaten segment of Prambanan is operated by two lanes.
Meanwhile, the Prambanan 'Tamanmartani segment functions in one lane when the homecoming flow (Jogja to Solo) and one route when the backflow (Jogja to Solo).
The two functional lines will be operated during the period of homecoming flow from March 24 to April 7, 2025 and during the backflow period according to the police discretion period.
"In that period, the functional route for the Jogja 'Solo Toll Road segment of the Klaten' Prambanan over the police discretion will be alerted for 24 hours, while the Prambanan'Tamanmartani segment will be functionalized from 07.00-17.00 WIB," Jasa Marga wrote via the @official.jasamarga Instagram account, quoted Monday, March 24.
This functional route is specifically intended for Class I nonbus/small vehicles.
As for the maximum speed for road users who pass this functional path, it is 40 km/hour.

Even though it's free, road users still tap electronic money cards at toll gates without cutting their balances.
For road users from the direction of Jogja, they can pass the Solo 'Yogyakarta national route and then enter through the Prambanan GT and exit GT Klaten or GT Banyudono if they want to continue their journey to Kartasura.
"The Prambanan 'Tamanmartani' segment will provide Oblique Approach Booth (AOB) and mobile reader (MR) for functional transactions at KM31+100 as many as 6 AOB and 4 MR," added Jasa Marga.
