Chicco Jerikho Touches The First Biolla Thanks To The City War

JAKARTA - Chicco Jerikho plays in director Mouly Surya's latest film, War Kota. In his latest film, he experiences many new things including playing violin.

"Challenging. In his mind, Isa's character continues to fight with how to support and fight in independence from colonial land," Chicco Jerikho said of his character at a press conference on Monday, March 24.

"I've never touched the violin. I was facilitated by Cinesurya to study and I lost my first time playing the violin C but was very happy," said Chicco.

Chicco Jerikho plays Isa, a fighter and husband and father. He fought for Indonesia's independence after independence in 1945. On the other hand, he also experienced war with his own life.

"(When I got the offer) I couldn't breathe, I was nervous, I was shaking, mixed feelings but happy," Chicco said of his experience.

Before marriage, I was dating the film Mouly, Marlina. After watching it, I thought I wanted to and who knows I was invited to play in the film with Mouly," said Chicco.

Mouly Surya admitted that he was interested in collaborating with Chicco, but he just felt the appropriate role had just been found in the film War Kota.

"I've had a long crush but haven't found the right role yet. And if you read the script, Isa's character is actually very different from chicco, but because of the difference in acting and skills, it can give a different dimension," said Mouly Surya.

Chicco collided with Jerome Kurnia and Ariel Tatum in the film War Kota. This film tells the story of a fighter who fights for independence for his country and his relationship.

Meanwhile, the film War Kota will hit Indonesian cinemas starting April 30, 2025.
