Drones Of Dozens Of Millions Disappeared While Delivered By Couriers, J&T Offers A Loss Of IDR 260 Thousand
DEPOK A drone worth Rp. 18 million was lost when it was sent from Depok, West Java to Karawang, West Java. Allegedly, the drone was stolen by workers from a J&T courier who took care of the shipment.
Aminx Sharma, a drone technician, explained that drone deliveries were carried out as usual without problems on Thursday, March 13, 2025. However, the problem arose when the package arrived at the recipient's home, Fendi, on Friday, March 14, 2025. The package was received by Fendi's wife, because Fendi was working.
"When he was received, his wife immediately contacted her husband because he felt the cardboard was too light," Aminx Sharma said when confirmed, Monday, March 24.
At Fendi's request, his wife opened the cardboard box while recording it in the video. Apparently, the cardboard was empty.
Fendi then contacted Aminx Sharma and also reported the matter to the J&T Express outlet. Aminx hopes that there will be responsibility from J&T.

However, J&T only offers compensation in the form of compensation for 10 times the cost of shipping, which is IDR 260 thousand.
"They only gave compensation 10 times the amount of Rp. 260 thousand. But my boss said he would take care of this case," said Aminx.
Aminx also mentioned that the J&T outlets in Depok and Karawang blamed each other, as if no one wanted to take responsibility.
"They blame each other. Depok outlets blame Karawang, and vice versa. They even questioned whether it was true that what was sent was a drone," Aminx said.
Until now, the seller is still waiting for good faith from the J&T Express courier regarding the case of the disappearance of the drone worth tens of millions of rupiah.
"We are still waiting. My owner is also taking care of it," he concluded.
