Dirlantas Ready To Escort SIKM During The Prohibition Of Homecoming, But Hearing The News Does Not Go Into Effect

JAKARTA - Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo stated the readiness of his staff to oversee the entry and exit permit (SIKM) of the capital city of Jakarta during the ban on going home.

Kombes Sambodo told reporters that officers guarding a number of posts blocking the ban on going home would prioritize the provisions of the COVID-19 Task Force circular letter.

"Where there are some non-homecoming trips that are still allowed. Among other things, logistical vehicle trips, trips for work, trips to take sick people, pregnant women who are about to give birth, and grief. So even that with certain conditions, "he told reporters, Monday, April 26.

The provisions for non-pilgrimage include an official travel certificate signed by echelon II.

"Outside the ASN, TNI, Polri, outside of that there must be a certificate from the village head, at a minimum, about entering the group's trip and so on. and all are expected to have a COVID-19 free letter, "said Sambodo.

But Kombes Sambodo admitted that he heard that the DKI Pemprov had not implemented SIKM.

"The one who issued SIKM from there, from the local government, not from us. In fact, we heard that it was not enforced, but just check with the Kadishub, "he said.

Anies' explanation about SIKM

DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan said that travel arrangements during this year's Eid homecoming season using an exit permit (SIKM) in the capital must be in line with central government regulations.

This is different from the SIKM rules for the month of Ramadan in 2020. In which, travelers who are allowed to enter and leave Jakarta are required to fill out an online form via the corona.jakarta.go.id site to obtain SIKM.

"The policy regarding the homecoming arrangement will be integrated because it cannot be regulated only by region. It must be integrated nationally," said Anies at the DPRD DKI Building, Central Jakarta, Monday, April 19.

The new homecoming ban will take effect on May 6 to 17, 2021, Anies said that travel arrangements during this year's Eid season are still being discussed with the central government.

"We continue to coordinate with the central government. So, later the direction of policy from the central government will be carried out together because it is impossible to do it alone," said Anies.

Whereas previously, the Chairperson of the COVID-19 Handling Task Force Doni Monardo allowed parties exempted from this year's Eid homecoming ban to travel. However, the requirements must have SIKM.

"People's trips during the month of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr are exempted for logistics distribution service vehicles and travelers with urgent needs for non-travelers," said Doni in Circular Letter Number 13 of 2021.
