Google App Presents Activity Tabs For Android Devices

JAKARTA Late last year, Google added a Search and Discovery feature in its application for Android devices. Now, the company is updating its application by presenting an Activity tab.

The Activity tab is a substitute for the Saved tab. Even though it comes as a substitute, the position of the tab has changed. Previously, the tab on the right side was Notification, but now the position is placed by the Activity tab.

If users want to visit the tab, they only need to tap the tab placed at the bottom right. In addition to the changing tab position, Google also updates the section of the Activity tab.

The tab consists of three parts, including History, Stored Items, and Collections. Each part has a different function with a different appearance as well. The following is an explanation of each part of the activity tab.

The presence of this Activity tab is only visible in the Google beta version 16.10 on Android devices. This change has not been widely released in beta so it is not yet known when Google will launch in a more stable version.
