Head Of PCO Palace Regarding Tempo Journalist Terrorized By Pig Head: Already Cooked By Aja

AKARTA - Head of the Presidential Communication Office (PCO) Hasan Nasbi assessed that sending the pig head to Tempo reporters, Fracisca Chrity Rosana or Cica was not a form of terror. He even suggested that the pig's head be cooked.

"Just cook it. Just cook it," Hasan told reporters, Friday, March 21.

Hasan said that his assessment of the shipment of the pig's head was not a threat because of Cica's attitude. "I saw from his social media, Francisca, who is a Tempo journalist, he asked to send pork," he said.

"Yes, it means he is not threatened. The proof is, he can joke about sending pork," Hasan continued.

Moreover, Hasan felt that he could not respond further to the terror issue. "We don't know who their problems are with, I don't know who sent them," he said.

"For me, we can't respond to anything. This is their problem, I don't know who, who sent it. Is it really like that? Or just jokes, because I also see they respond with jokes. So I don't think it should be raised," Hasan continued.

Hasan also assessed that the current freedom of the press was not disturbed even though there was an issue of terror. This is because there is no prohibition for journalists to write certain issues or cover in various places such as at the State Palace.

Even if there is a wrong writing, Hasan continued, the government usually makes corrections or if needed, they can report to the Press Council. "Is anyone afraid of making news now? Are there things that are prevented from covering at the Palace? Right, no. That means there is no freedom press being restrained," he explained.

"Like, for example, Tempo can still write news, right? Can you still broadcast Bocor Alus or not? It's still okay, right? That means the government doesn't interfere at all, doesn't bother you at all."

It is known that Francisca Christy Rosana or Cica received terror from an unknown person after receiving a package containing a pig's head whose ear had been cut off. There was no name of the sender on the cardboard received by the journalist on Thursday, March 20 at around 15.00 WIB.
