Nusron Wahid Says There Are 39 Situ In Bekasi To Banten Endangered

JAKARTA - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Nusron Wahid said that there were findings of 39 there in the Bekasi, Bogor and Banten areas that were threatened with 'extinction'.

This is one of the triggers for flooding in the Banten area.

The discovery increased after an in-depth discussion was carried out with the Governor of Banten Andra Soni. In total, there were findings of seven in danger of being lost in Banten, so the number increased from 32 there to 39 there in danger of being lost.

"Identified in the Tangerang Raya area earlier and Banten, there are at least 39 of them that have almost been 'extinction'," said Nusron after holding a meeting with Banten Governor Andra Soni at the PU Ministry office, Jakarta, Friday, March 21.

Nusron explained that the seven there changed functions for various reasons, ranging from reclamation to evaluation by local communities there.

In addition, there are findings of a number of situ where the area is reduced.

"This is also an indirect trigger and impact of flooding in the Banten area, especially in the Greater Tangerang area, which is inseparable from the Jabodetabek national strategic area," he said.

The discovery of almost 'extinction' in the Banten area was obtained from the results of the re-data collection of river border, river trunks and there in Tangerang Raya and Banten.

Regarding the use of space in the area, said Nusron, certificates of ownership (SHM) and building rights certificates (SHGB) have been issued.

Regarding this condition, Nusron said, several anticipatory steps would be taken. First, certifying the river border, river trunks, and the border that is still safe or empty, there is no ownership.

"Later we will HPL it, as soon as this year it must be completed on behalf of the respective authorities. If the river is brought by the BBWS authority, then the HPL is in the name of the Directorate General of Water Resources of the Ministry of Public Works. If the river is brought by the provincial authority, then we will make the HPL on behalf of the provincial government," he said.

Meanwhile, if there or the river border is under the authority of Perum Jasa Tirta, the HPL will also be made on behalf of Perum Jasa Tirta.

"Against those who have built on the river border or there, but have no rights, later we will take a humanitarian approach," concluded Nusron.

Previously, Nusron said that his party had received reports that 32 small lakes in the Bekasi area to Bogor, West Java, had disappeared.

According to Nusron, the report regarding the disappearance of 32 points was received by the Ministry of ATR/BPN after receiving information from the Ministry of Public Works (PU) in a coordination meeting on land control and floods some time ago.

"Reports from yesterday's Public Works there were 32 there in West Java, the missing 'wetan' or east of Jakarta," Nusron said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, March 20.

It is known that it can function as a temporary reservoir of excess rainwater and help reduce the potential for flooding in an area.

Even so, Nusron admitted that he did not know in detail the cause of the disappearance of the dozens of them because they had not checked one by one.
