Russia Considers Ukraine's Attack To Blow Up Gas Station In Kursk Terrorism
JAKARTA - Russia accuses Ukraine of blowing up Russia's main gas pump station and measurements in the Kursk region near the Ukrainian border. Russia called the Ukrainian attack an act of terrorism.
As reported by Reuters on Friday, March 21, the Russian Investigative Committee, which investigates serious crimes, said it opened a criminal case for incidents that caused "significant damage" to facilities near the city of Sudzha.
On the other hand, the Ukrainian military denied involvement in the attack.
The facility, once used by Gazprom to export gas via Ukraine to Europe, is in territory largely recaptured by Russian forces this week after heavy fighting with Ukrainian forces that have controlled it since last year.
