Bandarlampung Implements Restrictions On Goods Transport March 24-8 April To Smooth The Flow Of Homecoming
JAKARTA - The Bandarlampung City Police (Polresta) said that restrictions on operational transportation of goods during the 2025 Lebaran homecoming period were to facilitate traffic flow.
"The implementation of operational restrictions on goods transportation during the Eid al-Fitr 1446 H holiday period, will be implemented from Monday, March 24 to April 8," he said.
He said that this policy was taken based on a joint decision between the Directorate General of Land Transportation (Dirjen Hub), Korlantas Polri, and the Directorate General of Highways.
"This policy aims to maintain smooth traffic flow and improve the safety of other road users," he continued.
He also appealed to all transportation entrepreneurs and goods transport drivers to comply with these restrictions.
"This restriction applies to goods cars with three or more axes, vehicles carrying excavated or mining products, as well as goods vehicles with outboard trains and trains holding hands," he said.
However, he continued, there are exceptions for several types of transportation, such as fuel oil and gas, delivery of money, livestock, fertilizer, animal feed, natural disaster relief goods, as well as motorbikes for travelers who take part in the free homecoming and return programs that are allowed to operate.
"In addition, the transportation of basic goods such as rice, flour, sugar, vegetables and fruit, meat, fish, oil, milk, eggs, salt, onions, and chilies are also allowed," he said.

Ridho emphasized that his party will carry out surveillance at various points to ensure this policy runs well, especially in Bandarlampung City.
"Every freight transport that is still allowed to operate must be equipped with a cargo letter issued by the owner of the goods. The letter must contain information on the type of goods transported, the purpose of delivery, as well as the identity of the owner of the goods, and attached to the windshield of the vehicle," he said.
