KPK Cecar Andi Narogong Regarding The Flow Of E-KTP Project Money From Paulus Tannos To Members Of The DPR

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating the flow of money from the Director of PT Sandipala Arthapura, Paulus Tannos and the consortium of electronic ID card procurement projects (e-KTP) to members of the Indonesian House of Representatives.

This step was taken by examining Andi Agustinus alias Andi Narogong, who is a former convict of the corruption case of the electronic ID card procurement project (e-KTP) as a witness on Wednesday, March 19 yesterday. This request for information was made at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

"AN is being investigated regarding the commitment fee from the suspect PT and the consortium to members of the DPR," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika to reporters in a written statement, Thursday, March 20.

As for Andi, he didn't say anything after undergoing an examination. He chose to take a thousand steps from the pursuit of reporters who were already waiting.

Apart from Andi, the anti-corruption commission has also summoned Sugiharto, who is the former Director of Population Administration Information Management (PIAK) of the Directorate General of Dukcapil in the e-KTP corruption case on Monday, March 17 yesterday. He was questioned as a witness and fulfilled the summons although the results have not been detailed.

Just like Andi, Sugiharto was also caught in this case. He was then released on condition in 2024 after being sentenced to 15 years in prison at the cassation level in 2017.

Previously reported, the corruption case in the e-KTP procurement project cost the state up to Rp2.3 trillion if referring to the report from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK).

This case dragged the names of a number of high-ranking officials in the ministry, such as former Director General of Dukcapil Irman and former official at the Ministry of Home Affairs Sugiharto. In addition, there is also the name of former DPR Speaker Setya Novanto, former member of Commission III of the DPR Hanura Faction, Miryam S Haryani, a former member of Commission III of the DPR Markus Nari.

The KPK last named four new suspects in the e-KTP case in August 2020. They are former members of Commission II of the DPR from the Hanura Party faction, Miryam S Haryani, President Director of the Indonesian State Printing Corporation (PNRI) as well as Chairman of the PNRI Consortium Isnu Edhi Wijaya, Head of the Information Technology Technical Team for the Application of ID cards Husni Fahmi, and President Director of PT Sandipala Arthaputra, Paulus Tanos.
