Deputy Minister Tiko: SOEs With Perum Status Do Not Enter The Danantara

JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Kartika Wirjoatmodjo ensured that SOEs with the status of public companies (Perum) did not enter the management of the Anagata Nusantara (Dantara) Investment Management Agency (BPI).

Tiko, as he is familiarly called, said that the state-owned company with Perum status must be reshuffled into a Limited Company (PT) to enter the Danantara.

"Yes, transform first, yes. This is still being processed, we are still reviewing Perum first," said Tiko after a working meeting with Commission VI of the DPR RI, at the DPR Building, Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Wednesday, March 19.

In addition, Tiko is also reluctant to mention which SOEs have the status of Perum which has the potential to become Limited Companies (PT).

The SOEs with Perum status include Perum DAMRI, Perum Perumnas, Perum Bulog, Perum PERURI, and Perum Indonesian Aviation Navigation Service Providers (LPPNPI) or AirNav Indonesia.

Then, Perum Jasa Tirta I, Perum Jasa Tirta II, Perum Percetakan Negara Republik Indonesia (PNRI), and Perum Badan Berita Nasional (LKBN) Antara.

Meanwhile, continued Tiko, BUMN with PT status will enter the Danantara. However, the process is carried out through an inbreng process of shares targeted for completion by the end of this month.

"If this is a non-perum BUMN that we incregate, it is related to operational," said Tiko.

Previously, the Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir, said that the transformation of BUMN Perum had three options. First, Perum will change its status to PT.

Then, Perum BUMN can stand under other technical ministries. Finally, Perum stands alone with direct command under the President of the Republic of Indonesia (RI).

For Perum Bulog, said Erick, two options were prepared, namely Bulog standing under another technical ministry, or standing alone by direct command under the government.

"I ask for time that these formulas will later be used as PT or Perum, this can also be issued to ministries in need. One of them is a study that we deepened at that time Bulog as off-taker rather than National Food," said Erick at the BUMN Ministry office, Jakarta, Friday, March 14.
