Bengkulu Bank Employees Use Corruption Money For Online Gambling
JAKARTA - Head of the Bengkulu District Attorney's Office (Kejari) Ni Wayan Sinaryati said that Bank Bengkulu employees who committed criminal acts of corruption in cash amounting to Rp6 billion for online gambling (online).
"The Rp6 billion money comes from the management of cash that is not in accordance with the provisions," said Ni Wayan Sinaryati as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, March 19.
Based on the results of the search by the Bengkulu Kejari investigator team in two different locations, namely the house on Jalan Dempo 4 RT 15 RW 04 Kebun Tebeng Village, Ratu Agung District, then continued at the shophouse, Jalan Mangga Raya, Lingkar Barat Village, Singaran Pati District, Bengkulu City.
The investigative team confiscated a number of evidences in the form of a number of documents, two cellphones, laptops, and others related to the alleged corruption case.
The Bengkulu Kejari investigating team pocketed the names of potential suspects in the alleged corruption case at Bank Bengkulu.
"We will see from the investigation side, we will determine which one is more responsible. However, currently there is one candidate for the suspect," he said.
Meskipun demikian, pihaknya terus melakukan pengembangan dan penyelidikan serta telah melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap puluhan saksi yang berkaitan dengan kasus korupsi di Bank Bengkulu.
