Lampung Manpower Office Promises To Strictly Monitor Eid THR For Online Motorcycle Taxis And Couriers

LAMPUNG - The Lampung Province Manpower Office (Disnaker) promised to supervise the provision of holiday bonuses (BHR) on Lebaran 2025 for online motorcycle taxi driver partners and couriers in its area.

"We have forwarded the Circular Letter of the Minister of Manpower regarding the provision of Religious Holiday Bonuses for 2025 to online motorcycle taxi companies or packages that have offices in Lampung or via email," said the Daily Executive (Plh) Head of the Lampung Provincial Manpower Office Yuri Agustina Primasari in Bandarlampung, Antara, Wednesday, March 19.

The central government has issued a Circular Letter of the Minister of Manpower Number M / 3 / HK.04 / III / 2025 concerning the Provision of Religious Holiday Bonuses for 2025 for Drivers and Couriers at Application-Based Transportation Services.

Because the provision of holiday bonuses for online motorcycle taxi drivers and couriers is an appeal to accelerate the accommodation of the welfare of online motorcycle taxi drivers and couriers, there are no rules or sanction mechanisms.

"Perhaps in the future, the central government will make arrangements for sanctions for law enforcement. Even so, we will still go down to supervise and give a persuasive warning to the company if it has not given the rights of partners," he said.

He explained that holiday bonuses for online motorcycle taxi driver and courier driver partners can be provided with a number of provisions. And the provision of bonuses is 20 percent of the month's average income over the last 12 months.

"But the amount of bonus given can vary according to company policy to courier partners or online motorcycle taxi drivers. What is certain is that the company must provide the bonus to help improve the welfare of online motorcycle taxi driver partners and couriers," he said.

According to him, although online motorcycle taxi drivers and couriers are not registered in the labor service because of their employment status as partners. However, his party will continue to monitor the provision of holiday bonuses and facilitate if there are problems related to this.

Circular Letter of the Minister of Manpower Number M/3/HK.04/III/2025 was issued as an effort by the government to ensure that the rights of drivers and couriers remain fulfilled ahead of Eid al-Fitr.

And there are a number of provisions that must be implemented to get the holiday bonuses such as drivers being required to carry out their work at least 9 hours a day to meet the productivity standards that have been set.

Online motorcycle taxi driver partners are also required to maintain an optimal order completion rate, namely by completing most orders without canceling or over-rejecting.

Then the quality of service becomes an important aspect in determining the THR.

Drivers with high ratings have a greater chance of receiving benefits than those with low review scores.

Drivers must comply with app rules. If proven to have violated the code of ethics, they risk not getting a predetermined holiday bonus.
