Sightings Of Body Bags Of 3 Police Who Died Shot During The Cockfighting Gambling Gerebek In Lampung
JAKARTA - The Lampung Regional Police confirmed that three police officers in Way Kanan Regency died while on duty to raid cockfighting gambling.
"It is true that three members of the National Police died during a chickenfighting raid on Way Kanan," said Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Police, Kombes Yuni Iswandari, Monday, March 17.
He mentioned the three police officers who died were the Batin State Police Chief IPTU Lusiyanto, Bripka Petrus, and Bripda Ghalib.
"They suffered gunshot wounds to the head carried out by an unknown person," he said.
The shooting incident occurred when 17 Police personnel from the Way Kanan Police came to the cockfighting station, when they were at the scene (TKP) and were immediately fired at by an unknown person.
"From this incident, three Polri personnel died in duty," he said.

Currently, he said, the bodies of the three members are on their way to the Bhayangkara Police Hospital in Lampung, in Bandarlampung City for an autopsy.
"The body is being evacuated to be taken to the Bhayangkara Hospital of the Lampung Police for an autopsy and now the Kapolda is heading to the TKP and now we are focusing on securing other members," he said, quoted by ANTARA.
