The Condition Of The OKU PUPR Office After The KPK OTT, The Office Head's Room Was Sealed?

JAKARTA - The PUPR Office of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency (OKU), South Sumatra (Sumsel) was deserted after the KPK carried out a hand arrest operation (OTT) against the Head of the OKU PUPR Service (Kadin) with the initials Nov.

Monitoring in the field on Monday at around 09.30 WIB, Monday 17 March, the OKU PUPR Service office in Kelurahan Kemelak, East Baturaja District still looks deserted.

A number of employees continue to carry out routine activities, but access to the office head's room is tightly closed, so the media crew cannot see directly if there is sealing.

The employees at the office were reluctant to comment on the OTT carried out by the KPK against the Head of the PUPR Service, three members of the council, and two contractors.

Secretary of the OKU PUPR Service, Darajatun, when met after the meeting admitted that he did not know whether the door to the OKU PUPR Kadin had been sealed by the KPK.

He also could not comment on the arrest of Nov as Head of the OKU PUPR Service by the KPK a few days ago.

Meanwhile, the arrest operation carried out by the KPK in OKU Regency on Saturday, March 15, 2025, revealed new facts.

Nov as the Head of the OKU PUPR Service bought a new Toyota Fortuner from the results of the project fee he received in this case which is now used as evidence.

This case emerged after a number of members of the OKU DPRD, namely FJ, MFR, and UH, allegedly asked for a principal quota of thought (pokir) in the discussion of the 2025 OKU Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget Draft (APBD).

The KPK revealed that the pokir quota was agreed to be transferred to a physical project managed by the OKU PUPR Service with an initial value of Rp40 billion.

However, due to budget constraints, this amount was reduced to Rp35 billion, with the project fee still agreed at 20 percent or Rp7 billion.

After the agreement, the OKU PUPR Service budget experienced a drastic increase from Rp48 billion to Rp96 billion which was allegedly due to a political compromise related to project rations for DPRD members.

During the arrest operation, the KPK confiscated Rp2.6 billion in cash from the perpetrators who had been named as suspects to be used as evidence.
