GWM Brings 300 Diesel Tanks To Thailand Will Be Ford Everest' Strong Competitor
JAKARTA - The GWM of an automotive brand from China will bring 300 diesel Tanks to Thailand and will officially launch on March 24.
Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Monday, March 17, in the Thai automotive market, the 300 diesel GWM Tank will compete fiercely with Toyota and Ford, with models like Toyota Fortuner and Ford Everest leading the segment.
Thailand is indeed a country largely surrounded by mountains, so cars with the best Offroad capabilities are often the main choice, and diesel engines, with high torque output, are preferred in the region.
Previously, Tank 300 was only available with the HEV model. This car has a 2.0L turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 244 horsepower and 380 Nm torque, and an electric motor with 106 Ps and 268 Nm.
In addition, strong challenger Ford Everest comes with a 2.0L turbo diesel 170 Ps and 405 Nm for a low to medium trim and a 3.0 V6 turbo diesel that produces 250 Ps and 600 Nm for the upper trim, making it an option model for agricultural land owners and small business owners looking for reliable family SUVs capable of doing light offroads.
