At Least 50 People Died In Nightclub Fire Incident In Kocani, North Macedonia
JAKARTA - At least 50 people died in a fire at a nightclub in Kocani City, eastern North Macedonia, on Sunday local time.
This was reported by the local MIA news agency, quoted via Sputnik-OANA, Sunday, March 16. The fire occurred during the DNK band concert which was attended by around 1,500 people at Club Pulse at 3 am local time (09.00 WIB). The fire was allegedly triggered by the use of fireworks during the concert, according to MIA.

Although the interior ministry has not issued an official statement until Sunday morning local time, they confirmed at least 50 people were killed.
In addition, dozens of other injured victims have been evacuated to hospitals in a number of cities in the country.
The news agency reported that North Macedonia Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski and other government officials had reviewed the location of the fire.
