The Route Has Been Repaired, Temanggung Is Ready To Be Crossed By Homecomers For Eid 2025

The Central Line in Central Java Province, which crosses Temanggung Regency, is ready to be crossed by travelers to celebrate Eid al-Fitr 1446 H or Lebaran 2025.

Field Supervisor of the Wonosobo Provincial Road Maintenance Center (BPJP) of the Central Java Province Highways Office, Sarmono, said that roads that had previously been damaged, such as holes and cracked asphalt, had now been repaired for the sake of smooth homecoming.

He said all the damage to the alternative homecoming route had been handled properly, such as Parakan-Patean, Temanggung- Kaloran, Temanggung-Parakan and Kranggan-Pringsurat.

"We made improvements on four 54 kilometers of roads. The four sections are Parakan-Patean (23 km), then Temanggung-Kaloran (17 km), Kranggan-Pringsurat (8 km), and Temanggung-Bulu (6.8 km)," he said.

All holes and cracks, he continued, have been closed so that road users can pass more safely.

He added that the repairs were carried out using a patch method to cover the holes, cracks and bumpy road surfaces.

"Alhamdulillah, to this day the roads that enter the province on the four roads in Temanggung have been handled, all the holes and cracks have been closed," he said.

On the other hand, considering that the intensity of rain in the Temanggung area is still high, his party has alerted officers to make repairs if needed during the homecoming flow.

He conveyed that the homecoming route that crosses Temanggung Regency is an alternative route connecting West Java and Jakarta to Yogyakarta and East Java and vice versa. This route serves to reduce congestion on the Pantura and South Java routes.
