SKB Transportation Goods For Smooth And Safety During Eid Homecoming

JAKARTA - A Joint Decree (SKB) that regulates restrictions and operational arrangements for goods vehicles is aimed at smoothness and safety during the 2025 Eid homecoming and return flow.

"This is to ensure safety, security, order, smoothness, and optimize road and crossing traffic during the homecoming period and the backflow of Lebaran 2025 transportation," said Head of the Communication and Public Information Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation Budi Rahardjo quoting Antara.

In order to regulate the operation of goods transportation during the Eid 2025 transportation period, the government has issued a Joint Decree (SKB) involving three agencies.

The regulation is contained in the Decree of the Director General of Land Transportation Number: KP-DRJD 1099 of 2025, Director General of Sea Transportation Number: HK.201/4/DJPL/2025, Head of the Traffic Corps of the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia Number: Kep/50/III/2025, and Director General of Highways Number: 05/PKS/Db/2025 concerning Road Traffic Regulation and Crossing During the Eid Al-Fitr and Balik Transport Period of 2025/1466 H.

The arrangements are made through operational restrictions on goods transportation, namely restrictions on goods transport vehicles on goods cars with an axis of 3 or more, goods cars with attached trains, sedang trains, and goods cars carrying excavated goods, mining, as well as building materials.

Restrictions are imposed on toll roads and non-toll roads starting March 24, 2025 at 00.00 local time until Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 24.00 local time.

A number of toll roads that will implement restrictions on goods transportation are located in Lampung and South Sumatra, DKI Jakarta, Banten, West Java, Central Java and East Java.

Meanwhile, non-toll roads that will implement restrictions on goods transportation are located in North Sumatra, Jambi and West Sumatra, Jambi - South Sumatra Lampung, DKI Jakarta - Banten, DKI Jakarta West Java - Cikampek - Pamukan Cirebon, West Java, West Java - Central Java: Cirebon Brebes, Central Java, Central Java - East Java, Yogyakarta, East Java, Bali and Central Kalimantan.

Meanwhile, vehicles transporting fuel/BBG, sending money, animals and animal feed, fertilizers, handling natural disasters, motorbikes homecoming and return for free, as well as basic goods can still operate and are excluded from these restrictions with a letter of cargo type of goods.

"Logistics are a priority, there are no restrictions or restrictions so that the supply remains safe," said Budi.

In addition to regulating the operation of freight transport, the SKB also contains road traffic and crossing arrangements through one-way systems, contraflow systems, and odd-even systems.

Then, it also includes arrangements for Ketapang Port, Gilimanuk Port, Janger Port, Lembar Harbor, and Bulungan Pier, as well as arrangements for Merak Port, Bakauheni Port, Ciwandan Port, Bojonegara BBJ Port (Serang-Banten), Muara Pilu BBJ Port (South Village), and PT Wijaya Karya Beton Port.
