Trump's President Blames Joe Biden's Administration For Exacerbating US-Russian Relations
JAKARTA - The administration of US 46th President Joe Biden is to blame for the fact that US-Russia relations have worsened badly, US President Donald Trump said.
"Joe Biden yang 'bengk' membuat kita benar-benar 'berantak' dengan Rusia, tapi saya akan mengeluarkan kita," tulisnya di jaringan sosial Truth Social, dilansir dari TASS 14 Maret.
"Millions of people have died in vain, will never be seen again and there will be more who will follow if we do not complete the Ceasefire and Final Agreement with Russia and sign it," said President Trump.
Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered a special military operation into Ukrainian territory with the aim of demilitarizing and denazification on February 24, 2022.
Diplomacy of fast movement stems from US President Donald Trump's phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin last month, bringing cool winds amid tensions over relations between the two countries.
After that, the two countries held two rounds of high-level delegation meetings, the first in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on February 18, the second meeting in Istanbul, Turkey on February 27.
"We all see how fast the world is changing, the situation in the world. In this case, I would like to note that the first contact with the new US administration inspired certain expectations," Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a Federal Security Service meeting late last month.
"There is a shared dedication to working to restore relations between countries and gradually resolve a large number of systemic and strategic problems accumulated in the global architecture," he continued.

Last Tuesday, the United States and Ukraine agreed on a 30-day full ceasefire plan, at a meeting in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The US will communicate the results of a meeting in Jeddah with Russia. Ukraine itself expects assurances of the security and involvement of Europe in any peace efforts.
On March 13, President Putin responded to media questions by expressing his gratitude to President Trump for his involvement in peace negotiations and supporting the idea of a ceasefire.
However, President Putin raised several critical questions regarding the status of Ukrainian military personnel who had invaded the Kursk Region, the mechanism for monitoring the ceasefire and the potential for Ukraine's actions during this period.
He declared Moscow open to proposals to end hostilities in Ukraine, provided those proposals pave the way for long-term peace and address the root causes of the crisis.
