Didapuk Jadi Dirut, Ifan Seventeen Dapat PR Jadikan PFN Sebagai BUMN Pusat Konten
JAKARTA - Riefian Fajarsyah alias Ifan Seventeen has been officially appointed as the President Director (Managing Director) of PT Film Negara (PFN). One of Ifan's homework is to turn PFN into a state-owned content center.
Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir revealed that PFN will consolidate with BUMN Lokananta and PT Balai Pustaka (Persero). Thus, PFN will later become a state-owned content center.
For your information, Lokananta is the first music studio in Indonesia. Meanwhile, Balai Pustaka is a state-owned company engaged in the creative industry by producing films, digital comics, and games.
"Well, this will be consolidated into a content center or whatever the name is being studied," said Erick at the BUMN Ministry office, Jakarta, Friday, March 14.
Therefore, Erick also asked Ifan Seventeen, the vocalist of the Seventeen band to review the discourse.
Erick said the task was the same as what Erick asked PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo to review the discourse on consolidation with PT ASDP Indonesia (Ferry), PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (Persero) or PELNI, and so on.
I am encouraging this consolidation study. Like I asked Pelindo to make a study on the merger of ports, ferries, PELNI ships, it is not impossible to dock ships, as well as industrial estate. This is an ecosystem," he said.

Furthermore, Erick said, this is one of the reasons Ifan, who has a career in the music world, was appointed to lead PFN, a state-owned company engaged in the film world.
"So wait for the time, because this study is in process, management has been formed, the assets are also good, there is PFN. Now, this consolidates the print, sound, images held by the government under BUMN to become a unit. So it is also in line with the consolidation of SOEs," he said.
