JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto in his meeting with rectors from the national level (PT) experienced a unique incident when he screened public officials from the Red and White Cabinet (KMP) by realizing that Attorney General ST Burhanuddin was absent from attending this event.

In an event that took place at the Central Courtyard of the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Thursday, March 13, President Prabowo mentioned the possibility of the absence of the Attorney General due to his focus on working on pursuing the suspects from the cases he handled.

"What I respect is the TNI Commander, the National Police Chief, the chiefs of staff of the force. The Attorney General doesn't exist, does he? He's chasing this person," Prabowo said when opening the meeting with the rector of PT at the national level, reported by ANTARA.

The President's statement about the Attorney General was responded to by the event participants enthusiastically, heard laughter and applause.

This is quite effective to be a melting of the atmosphere, turning the audience's serious atmosphere into a sense of being more cheerful.

Even so, the meeting was immediately continued for a more in-depth discussion between the Head of State and the 184 academics.

Meanwhile, the President stated that meetings with the rectors and high-ranking PT at the national level were deliberately held to share views on the issue of the national to global level.

The President said the meeting needed heart-to-heart seriousness to understand it.

"We are grateful that we are still given health so that we can gather at the Palace this afternoon, carry out a face-to-face meeting and discuss exchanging views," said Prabowo.

The President explained, related to national issues, in this meeting it was intended that academics could present the things that had been done and the things that would be done in the future by the Red and White Cabinet (KMP).

In addition, Prabowo also wants to be able to share views on circumstances that may have an impact on Indonesia, namely related to global issues.

According to him, it is not only important to understand national issues, academics also need to understand global issues because these issues inevitably have an impact on the activities and activities of the Indonesian people.

Thus, these academics can understand the developments that occur and can take good steps to respond.
