President Gathers Chancellors, Shares National-Global Issue Views
JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto gathered rectors and high-ranking leaders from universities (PT) spread across Indonesia both from the country and private to share views related to issues that develop at the national to global level.
In a meeting held at the Central Courtyard of the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Thursday, March 13, the President stated that the meeting was a meeting that required serious heart-to-heart.
"We are grateful that we are still given health so that we can gather at the Palace this afternoon, carry out a face-to-face meeting and discuss exchanging views," Prabowo said as quoted by ANTARA.
The President explained, related to national issues, in this meeting it was intended that academics could present the things that had been done and the things that would be done in the future by the Red and White Cabinet (KMP).
In addition, Prabowo also wants to be able to share views on circumstances that may have an impact on Indonesia, namely related to global issues.
According to him, it is not only important to understand national issues, academics also need to understand global issues because these issues inevitably have an impact on the activities and activities of the Indonesian people.

Thus, these academics can understand the developments that occur and can take good steps to respond.
"Because what is happening in the world will affect us so we deserve to understand what is going on," said the President.
The meeting was attended by 184 rectors from universities throughout Indonesia with details of 124 rectors from State Universities, 40 rectors from Private Universities, 18 high-ranking officials from religious universities, and 17 high-ranking officials from LLDT throughout Indonesia who served as coaches for private universities in Indonesia.
