One Of Four Persecutors Killed Motorcycle Thief In Karawang Surrendered To Police

JAKARTA - At least one of the four people involved in the persecution killed one of the two perpetrators of motor vehicle theft surrendered to the police. The persecution took place in Karawang Regency, West Java (West Java).

Head of Public Relations of the Karawang Police, IPDA Solikhin in Karawang, was confiscated by Antara, Wednesday, March 12, saying that the four perpetrators of the theft of motorized vehicles, each with the initials KS, A, W, and RA.

The four people surrendered to the Karawang Police and admitted that they were involved in beating two perpetrators of motor vehicle theft in Tanjungsari Village, Cilebar District, Karawang.

From the incident of taking legal action on his own, causing the alleged thief to die, the victim's family made a police report related to the abuse case.

It was stated that the police would continue to investigate the case, both reports of cases of abuse and cases of motor vehicle theft.

Solikhin reminded the public not to take justice into their own hands and asked them to immediately report criminal incidents to the police.

Meanwhile, two of the alleged perpetrators of the theft of motorized vehicles were attacked by the masses and one of them died after being caught red-handed in a motorcycle theft in Tanjungsari Village, Cilebar District, Karawang Regency, West Java.

One of the perpetrators finally died in hospital due to serious injuries.

This incident began on Monday (10/3) at around 13.00 WIB when the victim with the initials K saw his motorbike being shifted by two unknown people from the terrace of his house to a three-meter-long road.

Seeing the incident, the victim immediately shouted "motor thief", carried out repeatedly to attract the attention of local residents.

The two perpetrators panicked and tried to escape using a motorbike but lost control and fell.

Meanwhile, residents who had gathered gave chase to the rice fields. After successfully arresting the two perpetrators, the masses took them to the side of the road and immediately judged them with punches, stone throws, and other acts of violence.

In the crowd that judged the perpetrators, as in the video circulating, there were two people dressed as civil servants who participated in violent acts against the two perpetrators.

Luckily, members of the Criminal Investigation Unit and SPK of the Pedes Police immediately arrived at the scene after receiving the report. Officers immediately arrested the two suspected perpetrators and took them to the Karawang Hospital for medical treatment.

However, one of the perpetrators, with the initials KBS (21), a resident of Dongkal V Hamlet, Dongkal Village, Pedes District, died from serious injuries. Meanwhile, his colleague with the initials R (25) still survives and is undergoing intensive care.

From the results of the investigation, the police secured a number of pieces of evidence including two motorbikes, one of which belonged to the victim with police number T 3050 OG and a letter T key allegedly used in the theft.
