BCA Prepares IDR 70.22 Trillion Cash In The 2025 Eid Period

JAKARTA - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) is ready to meet the needs of cash and customer transactions during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2025 periods by allocating cash funds of IDR 70.22 trillion, an increase of 4 percent when compared to the realization in the same period in 2024.

BCA President Director Jahja Setiaatmadja said BCA also strengthens digital services, especially during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr periods.

"The amount of cash prepared by BCA increased by 4 percent compared to the realization in the same period in 2024, along with the projected increase in public consumption activities and small businesses, as well as increasing demand for flexible banking services," he explained in his statement, quoted Wednesday, March 12.

Jahja conveyed that to anticipate the increase in transactions and distribution of money to the public, BCA has prepared a number of services that can make it easier for customers and ensure the fulfillment of customer needs to exchange money.

According to him, throughout the Ramadan to Eid al-Fitr period this year, customers can exchange cash according to the availability of each branch throughout Indonesia.

Meanwhile, specifically for the period 24-27 March 2025, there were 15 Main Branch Offices (KCU) alerted by BCA to serve the exchange of Small denominations (UPK) in the areas of Jakarta, Bogor, Depok and Bekasi (Jabodebek).

The money exchange at the above 15 KCUs can be done in the following way:

● Daftar dan lakukan pemesanan terlebih dahulu melalui aplikasi PINTAR https://pintar.bi.go.id. Pemesanan dapat dilakukan mulai tanggal 23 Maret 2025 pukul 09.00 WIB.

Exchanges can only be carried out according to the quota available at the predetermined branch.

After customers receive an allocation of money exchanges in the branch chosen on the PINTAR application, customers can come to the branch according to schedule to make exchanges.

Jahja stated that Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr were a period of significant increase in cash needs, both for social purposes, homecoming, and friendship.

"BCA is committed to providing optimal banking services for customers at all times, including ensuring the availability of adequate cash," he explained.

Jahja hopes that this effort can help customers and the community in meeting their needs during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, as well as have a positive impact on Indonesia's economic growth.

During Ramadan, BCA also adjusts the operating hours of all branch offices until 14.30 local time.

In addition to physical services, BCA also strengthens its digital services to meet customer transaction needs for 24 hours through the myBCA, BCA mobile, internet banking (KlikBCA) applications, and BCA ATM networks that can be easily accessed by customers anytime and anywhere.

In order to ensure the convenience of customers in transactions during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, BCA provides various communication channels that can be accessed easily.

Customers can contact Halo BCA services via 1500888 and the HaloBCA application, as well as communicate via WhatsApp Bank BCA (0811 1500 998), X @HaloBCA, webchat at www.bca.co.id, or e-mail halobca@bca.co.id to get help quickly and responsively.

"I represent all levels of commissioners, directors, and employees of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk to welcome Eid al-Fitr 1446 H for all our beloved customers. May the deeds of worship that we carry out during the holy month of Ramadan bring blessings to all of us," concluded Jahja.
