Investigating The CSR Corruption Case Of Bank BI, KPK Working On Former Gerindra Legislator Staff Heri Gunawan Today

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined six witnesses related to allegations of corruption in the social responsibility fund (CSR) of Bank Indonesia (BI) today, Wednesday, March 12. One of them is Martono as a former Gerindra legislator expert, Heri Gunawan.

"The examination was carried out at the KPK's Red and White building," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika to reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, March 12.

Apart from Martono, the witnesses who were also worked on by investigators were Eka Kartika who was a housewife; Sandy Baytu Thauhid as Junior AO of Cosumer and Retail BJB of the Sumber branch, Cirebon; Mohammad Fahmi Heryanda who is the Junior Relationship Officer of Consumer Bank BJB of the Source branch, Cirebon; Silmi Ahda Fauziyah as the teller of Bank BJB of the Source branch, Cirebon; and Ryanza Ocsa Putra who is the sales staff of Lotte Grosir Cirebon.

Tessa has not yet detailed the material for the examination of the six witnesses. Including the question of whether or not he was present.

However, investigators need their information to make clear the corruption case being handled.

"KPK has scheduled witness examinations related to the alleged criminal act of corruption in CSR funds at Bank Indonesia," said Tessa.

Previously reported, the KPK is currently investigating allegations of corruption in the Social Responsibility Fund (CSR) of Bank Indonesia (BI). The investigation uses a general investigation warrant (sprindik) signed in the third week of December 2024.

There is no name in the regulation yet. However, two people or even more have the potential to be charged after a search was carried out at the Bank Indonesia office to the Financial Services Authority (OJK) on Monday night, December 16, 2024.

In this case, the KPK has also examined a number of parties. Among them are DPR member of the NasDem Party faction Satori and Member of the DPR Gerindra Party faction Heri Gunawan.

Investigators have also searched Satori's house in the Cirebon area, West Java. From the search process, investigators found documents allegedly related to the alleged corruption of BI's CSR funds.

Investigators have also searched Heri Gunawan's house and found evidence including documents. The CSR BI funds allegedly flowed to a number of foundations and became assets enjoyed by related parties.
