Minister Of Religion: Youth Of Ansor Must Be Responsive To Community Problems

JAKARTA - The Minister of Religion and Chairman of the GP Ansor Central Executive, Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, stated that the Ansor Youth Movement must be responsive to every problem that occurs in society, be it social, political, or state.

"We do all of this out of love. We do not do this because of position, human civilization is more important. We cannot possibly leave a world that is chaotic, chaotic to our grandchildren," said Yaqut in commemoration of the 87th Harlah of GP Ansor, who monitored virtually quoted Antara, Saturday, April 24.

According to him, the 87th Harlah of the Ansor GP must be passed again in the atmosphere of the COVID-19 pandemic. He believes the Ansor cadres already understand how to avoid COVID-19.

If the current government is trying to carry out all kinds of policies to end the pandemic, all Ansor cadres must also make every effort to help the government.

"Discipline health protocols and ask Allah that the pandemic will soon be lifted. The government is doing various ways to end it. We don't need to be afraid of the second wave of issues, as long as we take care of ourselves, maintain health protocols, at the same time we pray," he said.

Ansor's steps in supporting government programs are proven by the design of Ansor's 87th Harlah logo, which contains a mask image. According to Gus Yaqut, the logo means that the Ansor cadres are aware of the situation they are experiencing.

Meanwhile, gold ink on a black background symbolizes the optimistic attitude that there will be light in every darkness.

"Gold colored font, we will pass the pandemic era with a better future and spread by the Ansor youth. On the shoulders of friends, the consistency of the Ansor movement's struggle is at stake," he said.
