2 Ex-Members Of The Central Java Police, Candidates For Acceptance Of The National Police, Sentenced To 2.5 Years In Prison
JAKARTA - The Semarang Corruption Court sentenced two former members of the Central Java (Central Java) Regional Police to become defendants in the calo case in the acceptance of the National Police NCO in 2022.
The sentence against the defendant is heavier than the demands of the public prosecutor for 2 prisons.

The bribe received came from the six prospective non-commissioned officers, the value varied from Rp280 million to Rp450 million.
Meanwhile, the defendant Zainal Abidin received Rp350 million from one prospective non-commissioned officer.
The judge said that the money given by the police candidates had been returned by the leadership of the National Police who handled this case after the two defendants were caught.
In their consideration, the judge stated that the actions of the two defendants as members of the National Police did not support the government's efforts to eradicate corruption.
In addition, he continued, the two defendants had also been dishonorably dismissed from members of the National Police.
