Will Normalize, River Banks In West Java Will Be Designated As State Land
JAKARTA - West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi together with ATR/BPN Minister Nusron Wahid who discussed land management in watersheds agreed to produce a budget decision or riverbank in West Java which would be claimed by the state.
Dedi explained that in the meeting which was attended by 27 regents and mayors at the Depok Mayor's complex, commitment and synchronization of each region in preparing healthy spatial planning, with the results of measurements of land at the river border by the West Java Provincial Government whose output of river function will be returned.
In the sense that the river body is widened again and the water capacity becomes normal.
"This is a solution given by our minister of pride, to the people of West Java. The provincial government will pay for the measurement of all watersheds so that West Java is free from flooding," said Dedi as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, March 11.
Dedi said the ministry was also committed to issuing a river border certificate which would later be held by the regional river hall. Thus, there are no more individuals or companies that claim and take care of certificates.
"So that later the normalization and widening of the river will not be hampered by the issuance of certificates or ownerships controlled by individuals or companies," said Dedi.

Meanwhile, the Minister of ATR/BPN Nusron Wahid explained that the land in the river border, if the certificate has not been issued, will be designated as state property with the manager, namely the local Regional River Center (BBWS).
"For the land in the border line of the river, we will set it into state land and it will be owned by the river hall, later we will issue a certificate for the river hall. So that in the future the community will not make unilateral claims to build or have certificates along the riverbanks to maintain the river ecosystem," said Nusron.
