Women's Doubles Coach Hopes Many In All England 2025

JAKARTA The women's doubles coach, Nitya Badminda Maheswari, hopes that his two foster children who appear at All England 2025 this week can meet the target of the coaching team.

All England, which is the oldest badminton event in the world, will start on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, until Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Utilita Arena, Birmingham, England. Indonesia has sent a total of 11 representatives there.

In the women's doubles sector, Indonesia sent the pair Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti and Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi.

"I hope they can bring out the best game they have. The results and targets will definitely come from us as a coaching team, but, yes, everything goes back depending on performance," said Nitya.

The Indonesian badminton team arrived in England and held a practice court at the Utilita Arena on Sunday, March 9, 2025. The exercise continued Monday, March 10, 2025, evening local time.

While undergoing training yesterday, the focus of the coaching team was on returning conditions after the team's long journey from Jakarta. As for Apri/Fadia flew from France after joining the Orleans Masters 2025.

Nitya sees the chances of her team in the tournament still exist even though the opponents who participate in the tournament will not be easy to beat.

"All England is a unique tournament, the atmosphere is very different and everyone has the same opportunity to get the best results. So, hopefully they can take this momentum," he said.

Indonesia came to the tournament with the status of defending champions in the men's singles and men's doubles sectors through Jonatan Christie and Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto.

Both names took part in defending their title. Fajar/Rian will try to become champions in three consecutive editions.
