The Deputy Minister Of Home Affairs Has Spoken Out About The Cost Of Retretating Regional Heads: Not Yet Paid Off, But We Will Arrange A Report First
JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri) Bima Arya Sugiarto opened his voice about the retret cost of regional heads that had just been paid Rp2 billion out of a total of Rp13 billion.
Bima emphasized that there were no problems related to the availability of the budget to pay for the retreat which was held at the Magelang Military Academy some time ago.
"The money is of course there, the budget is there," said Bima Arya, Monday, March 10.
Bima said that his party only needed to ensure all stages related to the implementation of the retreat according to the rules and regulations.
The Ministry of Home Affairs, he said, must also prepare a report first before paying the fee for the treatment.
"It's not that it hasn't been paid off, we make sure all the stages are in accordance with the rules. We also consult with LKPP so that the planning, then the stages process is all in accordance with the regulations. We will prepare (the report) in full first," said Bima.
"So there are no problems related to the availability of the budget," continued the PAN politician.

Previously, the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri), Tito Karnavian, said that the cost of organizing the regional head recruitment had not been paid in full. Tito said the Ministry of Home Affairs had only paid IDR 2 billion out of a total of IDR 13 billion.
"I have to say that the costs have not been fully paid by the Ministry of Home Affairs, we just have a manager of approximately Rp. 13 billion. I have checked, only Rp. 2 billion has been paid," said Tito, Friday, March 7.
According to Tito, the Ministry of Home Affairs must check the budget issued for the retret of regional heads. According to him, the budget allocated for retrets must be reasonable for use.
"All uses, all bills must be reasonable. Direct appointments are allowed, but it must be used naturally, we will check the details. And then after that is finished, I invite BPKP we will make an official letter for a review, to see fairness and others. Later, after the review, there will be a recommendation on how much to be paid to the organizers," said Tito.
