Bogor Regency Government: 253.66 Hectare Permit Eiger Adventure Land Issued By Ministry Of Transportation In 2019
BOGOR - The Bogor Regency Government stated that the permit to establish an Eiger Adventure Land tourist spot covering an area of 253.66 hectares of land in the Puncak area, Bogor Regency, West Java, was issued by the Ministry of Forestry.
"Eiger is the land, 250 hectares of forestry land. The permit is not the authority of Bogor Regency, all of the permits are at the Ministry of Forestry," said Bogor Regency Regional Secretary (Sekda) Ajat Rochmat Jatnika in Cibinong, Antara, Monday, March 10.
The Bogor Regency Government only issued a permit to complement supporting facilities for tourist attractions that were established in the Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park (TNGGP) area, after the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation issued a permit in April 2019.
"Well, those with permits are 31 hectares of 250 hectares, to be used as parking areas and entrances," explained Ajat.
The permit for the establishment of Eiger Adventure Land was determined through a Decree (SK) of the Minister of Environment and Forestry (LHK) concerning Business Permits for the Provision of Natural Tourism Facilities in the Gunung Gede National Park Utilization Zone, Pangrango, Bogor Regency, which was signed on April 24, 2019 by Siti Nurbaya as Minister of Environment and Forestry at that time.
West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi had asked who had the authority to issue an Eiger Adventure Land permit when sealing the tourist attraction with the Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Environment Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, to Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto on Thursday (6/3).
At that time, Dedi Mulyadi cried to witness the reckless conversion of land functions in the Puncak tourist area, Bogor Regency.
"Who gave this permission, from the aspect of the regulations can be recommended to be revoked?" said Dedi during a conversation with one of the Ministry of Environment (LH) officers at the time.
From the tourist attractions that are still in the construction process, Dedi Mulyadi was surprised to see the opposite, which is the TNGGP area, a building that will be connected to Eiger Adventure Land via a suspension bridge.
